Before I tell you what it is, I need to cover the boring side of Body Transformation so it makes sense to you.
To protect your heart, lungs and many of the upper vital organs you have in your body, you have your ribs. These are here to stop any big blows damaging your insides.
To allow you to bend forwards, your body isn’t able to have ribs in the lower half of your torso. This means it needs another kind of shield.
This shield is called your transverse abdominis, it’s a muscle that goes the whole way around your belly basically. The tighter this is the safer your insides.
Only thing is, when you sit down you turn off the muscle. This then allows the muscle to relax and loosen, allowing your belly to look 1, 2 even 3 inches bigger than it should!
But…. If you can tone the transverse abdominis by reactivating it, it will tighten back up and bring your belly back in!

The easiest way of tightening the muscle back up is be not sitting down and using it a lot, and yes, I know that this isn’t always possible.
So here is my 1 Simple Exercise To Tighten Up The Core. The Stomach Vacuum!
Standing up (or sitting down), suck your belly button back into your body, trying to touch your back. Hold it for 10 seconds and relax, do another 6 more today.
Now each day, do this at work or when you are sat in traffic to reactive the transverse abdominis and watch your belly tighten up.
